Sensei Pieter Kroon (Judo Instructor)

Mr. Kroon is a Yo Dan (4th degree black belt) in Judo. He grew up in the Netherlands and started judo in 1970 at Sportschool Rob van der Hoorn in Oegstgeest. He moved to the United States in 1987 and competed with the UT Judo team from 1988- 1992. He was an assistant coach for the UT Judo team from 1991 -1998. He is married to Theresa and has 2 sons, Ben and Sammy, both of whom are taking Tang Soo Do and Judo at Tang Soo Do Academy. Pieter is a physical therapist and works for Sports Performance International, where he specializes in the treatment of sports related injuries.
